Picking out your first bubble/boba tea to drink is like swiping on Tinder trying to find the perfect date. You have so many choices, but the first one you want to make it memorable. Let me give you a guide on how to pick your first.
I know everyone wants to try the most popular boba drink out there, like the hot blonde that everyone wants to date and get in bed with. While the popular choice may be a good bet, it might not be right for you. You must know what your tastes are before going in or else you’ll end up having a bad experience and not liking it. Here is what I suggest. Do some research on some boba shops before you go and look at their reviews. Frequent customers often know which drinks are best to try. When you know what kind of flavor you like or are interested in, I suggest going for that one with regular sugar, ice, and boba (aka tapioca pearl) as the only topping. Don’t worry, they’ll be plenty of time to taste the other exotic toppings. You just have to be patient. You can’t try everything in the kama sutra all at once if the only thing you have done is missionary (I’m sorry if any kids are reading this).
Once you get a taste of that first boba on your lips and it’s so good, you’ll be hooked. Then you can start getting comfortable and mixing up drinks to keep up with your taste buds. You’ll notice you’ll start changing like you’re going through puberty. It’s normal as everyone goes through this stage. You’ll start to become a boba lover, but hopefully not a boba addict. This is when you become part of the boba life!
So now that you drank your first boba and made it memorable, you must remember that it might not be your last so keep your options open. They’ll be plenty of bobas to try out there. Always be open minded. When you’ve drank so much, you’ll think you’ll get sick of boba and never want to drink it again. That’s until you find the right boba for you that you can never get sick of or maybe you have a few that you enjoy, whatever floats your boat. All in all, just have some fun trying and drinking different bobas. Even if you don't like boba in your bubble tea, that's ok too. Anyways, it’s just a drink!
P.S. I’m sorry if some parts ramble. I am not a writer by nature and only wrote what was on the top of my head. This was all unedited. Thank you!
